Towards End of 2009

Looking back at my blog today and just realized that i've not been updating my blog for so many months. Now is January 2010 and i would like to wish everyone to have a good starts for year 2010 and all the best.

Ermmm .. end of the year 2009, i've been busy with my works as well as my new house. It really takes up a lot of time to arrange all those renovation thingy. Other than that it was really stressful handling the contractor. Anyhow, it was all over and i've moved in during the Christmas and enjoying my stay there.

During the month of December, i still managed to go to China for about 10 days together with one of my colleagues. We've visited few places in China namely Tang Shan, Fushan, Beijing and Shanghai.

Attended a wedding ceremony in Tang Shan. Lei has invited us there to witness his big day. We took this opportunity to go around China as our year end trip for the year...

Before we proceed to Tang Shan, we went to Fushan. This is due to we missed our flights ...ha ha ha .. it's aprice we have to pay when we turned to a zombie....what a shame ... hahaha .. this is because the night before we dont have a good sleep when we flew to Guangzhou and then both of us were really blurr. We've indeed already checked in to the boarding area but still manage to missed our flight. So we took a bus ride to Fushan and spend a day there.

At first, my thought of the wedding in China is pretty back to traditional type like what we've seen in the television but i was wrong. It was much simpler than we saw in Malaysia. At least there is no praying ceremony, no tea ceremony and also the wedding banquet was at the noon time.
They likes to give speech..haha ...before going to the bride's place, they gave speech, at the bride's place, another speech, then went back to the groom's place, yet another speech and then at the restaurant, another long winded speech. ha ha ha .. really not used to it but it's their culture . We got to respect that... The speeches are indeed really touching at a point...

After the wedding, we proceed to Beijing. Too bad that i missed the Great Wall trip. My colleague went there alone as i was sick  and stayed in the hotel and slept for the whole day.

We proceed to Shanghai via taking a 16hours train. We took a 6 bunker cabin. To my surprise, there is no door for 6 bunker cabin. It is only available for 4 bunker cabin. Felt a bit annoyed when those people smokes in the train which dont have any windows. The smells really makes me sick.

It was a fun 10 days trip after all with all our guts eating scorpions and bugs.
